I am sad to say that Felanie “Pretty Girl” Thomas, TT, age 10, passed away today (February 29). Fel was a sweet, shy, gentle dog with a very big heart and lots of love to give.
Throughout the eight years Fel spent as a part of our small family, she gathered up a handful of obedience and agility class diplomas and a Temperament Tested (TT) title, but I will most remember her for the way she was able to educate and inspire the people around her. Felanie gave me a passion and a purpose in life, motivated me to get a master’s degree, and challenged me to be a more forgiving, more open-minded, more thoughtful individual.Fel was an integral part of our family and she is dearly missed here on earth, but we are comforted by the thought that she is already romping (in a very dainty, ladylike way, of course) in doggy heaven.
